University ranking
This year, the special Diploma issue of HVG containing the ranking of higher education institutions and faculties was published for the tenth time. In the ranking of the legal faculties, our Faculty achieved first place in terms of the excellence of full-time students. We also take first place in legal education.
In the total ranking of the Hungarian higher education institutions, ELTE stands in the second place; in the total ranking of the 157 listed faculties, the Faculty of Law of ELTE stands in the seventh place taking into account the excellence of students.

The weekly magazine, Heti Válasz published again its higher education ranking this year. According to the ranking, the Faculty of Law of ELTE retains its lead in the ranking of law faculties in respect of students’ excellence. At our institution, the average point obtained by admitted students was the highest, the number of students having a language exam and that of those having passed the foreign language advanced level school-leaving examination with a good qualification was also the highest.
