European Law Faculties Association (ELFA)

Our Faculty is a member of ELFA, which is the European Law Faculties Association (http://www.elfa-afde.net/), which is the representative organ of faculties of law across Europe. Founded in Leuven, Belgium, in 1995 by some eighty law faculties, today it has 160 members from universities of the EU and from non-EU European countries. ELFA coordinates faculty initiatives in the field of the education of law, postgraduate legal education and issues related to the mobility of instructors and students. Its journal is European Journal of Legal Education, which reports about the state of legal education in Europe and ensures an international forum for debates, as for instance that going on among European universities about the possibilities of implementing the principles of the Sorbonne-Bologna Declaration in legal education.
