Online Summer School at Masaryk University in 2020
Masaryk University is pleased to announce that it will be offering four online summer schools for summer 2020 that rely on leaders in their field to present a variety of topics from the Central European perspective.

The courses will engage the students during lectures, enhance their intercultural communication skills through discussions, and encourage them to think outside the box by applying what they learn in the class to their group presentations.

The intensive 2.5 weeks will enable students to come away with a clear understanding of the topics covered, and practice of applying the lessons to current examples.

The courses are:

  • Global Perspectives: Media, Communication, Culture (20 July – 5 August 2020; 6 ECTS)
  • International Law and Human Rights (13 – 29 July 2020; 8 ECTS)
  • International Relations and Threats to Global Security (6 – 22 July 2020; 8 ECTS)
  • World in Transition and Central European Transformation (20 July – 5 August 2020; 8 ECTS)

Each course will also include virtual site visits to the UN in Vienna and Radio Free Europe to attend a lecture related to the course content providing students the opportunity to ask specialists in the field questions.

The courses are each €700 with a €100 discount for any student who applies and commits before June 1.
