My research in constitutional law focuses on fundamental rights, in particular the rights of vulnerable groups, including children's rights, their exercise and limitation, and closely related to this, the functioning of the system of forums for the protection of fundamental rights. In the area of the exercise and protection of fundamental rights, I will also address the question of the legal capacity and exercise of fundamental rights, in the area of limitation, the elements, criteria, and doctrinal context of the fundamental rights tests and scales, and the substantive and enforceability issues of certain children's rights. As regards the actors in the system of forums for the protection of fundamental rights, I focus on the operational characteristics and function of constitutional courts and ombudsman institutions, their role in the enforceability of fundamental rights, an analysis of the practice of each institution, and the context of the European constitutional space.
