Main research areas
The research covers the theoretical, dogmatic and practical issues of the termination of the employment relationship and public service legal relationship, including considerations elating to protection against unlawful termination.
The change of the public service regulation affects the stability of the public employment relationship and the ways in which employers exercise their power. My hypothesis is that these processes point in the direction of the legal separation of public service law, in the process of which the legislator forms the system of public service by placing the tools of labour law in a specific public law “context”. These trends also raise dilemmas regarding fundamental rights, especially in relation to the right to work and human dignity. My research also focuses on the impact of international trends in public service in Hungary.
