A konferencia három egymást követő, francia, német, illetve angol szekcióra tagozódik, amelyekben előadások és eszmecserék követik egymást:
- Changement de l’État de droit
- Wandel des Rechtsstaats: ein Kaleidoskop verschiedener Rechtsgebiete
- Actual developments in the field of administrative and constitutional justice
A jogállamiság jelentésének tartalmi változásai szinte minden jogterületen megjelennek, és izgalmas kérdéseket vetnek fel, amelyekre nemcsak a tudománynak, hanem a jogalkotónak és a jogalkalmazónak is reagálnia kell. Ezt az előadások blokkokon belüli tematikus csoportosítása és az egységek jogágakon átívelő jellege egyszerre segíti.
A szervezők szándéka szerint a jogállamiság gazdag jelentéstartalma képes a különböző jogágak, jogterületek képviselőit egy nevezőre hozni, és a tudományos összehasonlító jogi diskurzus különféle nézőpontjai és hangsúlyai révén megtermékenyítőleg hatni, a különböző jogágakon átívelve szinergiákat teremteni, új kérdésfeltevéseket indukálni. Az előadások és viták megállapításai a gyakorlati szakemberek számára a törvényhozásban, a közigazgatásban és az igazságszolgáltatásban is fogódzókat nyújtanak napi munkájukban. A konferencián elhangzott előadások az ELTE két idegen nyelvű kiadványa, az ELTE LAW JOURNAL és az Annales hasábjain kerültek publikálásra a konferenciát követően.

The Faculty of Law of ELTE University Budapest will convene an international conference between 24–27 May 2022 with the aim to discuss the recent developments connected to the rule of law on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of its cooperation with the faculties of law of the Georg-August-University Göttingen and the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) at the Faculty.
The conference will be divided in three consecutive sessions in French, German and English followed by presentations and discussions.
- 24 May: Symposium with the Faculty of Law of The University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in French (program)
- 25-26 May: Symposium with the Faculty of Law of The Georg-August University Göttingen in German (program)
- 26-27 May: Actual developments in the field of administrative and constitutional justice (program)
Changes in the substantive meaning of the rule of law are occurring in almost every area of law, raising exciting questions to which not only academics but also legislators and practitioners must respond. This is facilitated by both the thematic grouping of the lectures within blocks and the cross-disciplinary nature of the units.
The organisers hope that the rich connotations of the rule of law can bring together representatives of different branches and areas of law, and through the different perspectives and emphases of academic comparative legal discourse, have a stimulating effect, creating synergies across the different branches of law and inducing new questions. The findings of the lectures and debates will also provide practitioners in law-making, public administration and the judiciary with insights for their daily work. The papers presented at the conference have been published in the two foreign-language publications of ELTE, ELTE LAW JOURNAL and Annales, after the conference.
