Elindult a TRIIAL 2 projekt az ELTE részvételével.

Az ELTE részvételével folytatódik a TRIIAL 2 (TRust, Independence, Impartiality and Accountability of Legal professionals under the EU Charter) elnevezésű, az Európai Bizottság által finanszírozott nemzetközi projekt, melynek célja, hogy képzési lehetőségek biztosításával segítse a bírók, az ügyészek és ügyvédek munkáját a jogállamiság elveinek és a EU Charta rendelkezéseinek érvényesítésében. 

A képzések elsősorban a bíróságok közötti párbeszéd (judicial interaction techniques) lehetőségeinek szélesítését célozzák. A projekt keretében a résztvevő országok releváns esetjogát feldolgozó adatbázis is készül, amelynek célja a bírók munkájának segítése. A nemzeti bíróságok és az európai bírói fórumok (EUB, EJEB) gyakorlatát tartalmazó adatbázis nyilvánosan elérhető valamennyi bíró számára. A projektvezető intézmény a firenzei European University Institute (EUI).

A projekt futamideje: 2023. február 1. – 2025. július 31.

A TRIIAL 2 projekt keretében együttműködő partnerintézmények a projekt futamideje alatt 12 transznacionális workshop megszervezését vállalták az alábbi témákban:

3. Mutual Trust, Judicial Independence and Judicial Cooperation in Asylum
4. Freedom of Expression and Association of Judges – a Cross-Border Judicial Dialogue
5. Mutual Trust, Judicial Independence of Prosecutors in the EAW framework
6. Freedom of Expression and Association of Prosecutors – a Cross-Border Judicial Dialogue
7. Are National Higher Courts Securing Fundamental Rights? Litigation Techniques towards Implementation of EU Acquis on RoL and Fundamental Rights
8. Disciplinary Proceedings and Judicial Ethics
9. The Role of Lawyers in the Promotion of Judicial Independence, Mutual Trust and Rule of Law – Litigation Strategies before Judicial and Quasi-Judicial Bodies
10. Fundamental Rights and the Use of the Preliminary Reference Procedure
11. Judicial Dialogue and Freedom of Expression of Lawyers
12. Rule of Law and Predictive Justice

Az ELTE mint partnerintézmény várhatóan 2024 októberében rendez kétnapos workshopot Fundamental Rights and the Use of the Preliminary Reference Procedure címmel.
